Important Resources for BxUM

Bronx-Upper Manhattan is an important part of General Service Area 49: South Eastern New York (SENY).  This is our connection to the AA General Service Structure.

SENY

SENY is the nickname for Area 49, an acronym for South Eastern New York.

SENY is the connection through which local groups participate in the decision-making for AA as a whole and help carry AA's message. Learn more about SENY from a service perspective or visit the SENY website here to explore upcoming events, service opportunities, and how you can give back!

The International Conference of Young People was founded for the purpose of providing a setting for an annual celebration of sobriety among young people in AA.  Since its inception, a growing group of people, who at first would not consider themselves "young people," has become regular attendees.  The number of young people suffering from alcoholism who turn to AA for help is growing, and ICYPAA helps to carry AA's message of recovery to alcoholics of all ages.  Visit the ICYPAA Website.
